Exceptional service from start to finish!

On speaking to Penguin Cars to enquire about the Mercedes CLS I was interested in, I immediatley felt this was a trustworthy company worth making the 100 mile trip to view.
On arrival, we were met by Adam, who was very courteous and knowledgeable. The car was well presented and there was no pressure or hard sell. When we returned from the test drive, my wife and I felt confident about the purchase.
The service we received from Penguin Cars was above and beyond anything I have experienced from a dealer. Adam sorted all the paperwork and made the whole transaction very easy.

With so many of us buying cars remotely, it is so important that the experience from start to finish does not create any doubt or worry. I travelled from Ireland to buy my wife's C220 Cabriolet and the experience could not have been easier. The Reviews say it all. A Great selection of good quality cars!

Overall a very good company to deal with. Robert was pleasant and very informative about the Jaguar F-type that I ended up buying. I would have given them a 5 star rating but having travelled over 170 miles to view the car I would have expected a token of at least a half a tank of fuel to sweeten the deal but no off you go the garage is on the roundabout as you head out.

10/10 service. Rob and colleagues were super professional and friendly. They accommodated my request to put a deposit down to reserve the car for a viewing 8 days later. The car was in fantastic condition and looked exactly as advertised. I did complete a separate comprehensive vehicle inspection with the AA, which passed with flying colours. The price was reasonable for the current climate and the car came with 6 months RAC warranty and a free year of breakdown cover. Professional, patient, polite and honest.
Had few emails with Adam before driving to view the car I eventually brought. All the emails described the car perfectly even the very small scratches on the rear bumper due to loading and unloading were mentioned.
Nothing was left off the videos and emails regarding the condition and previous ownership.
Would gladly without a second though make the 3 1/2 drive to buy another car from Penguin cars.

It was very important to find a garage that understood my concerns! The reason for my new purchase was due to my car being stolen. My purchase prior to that was from a dealership that was not credible and literally sold me a car that was dangerous! I chatted with Rob and told him what had happened and my genuine fear of purchasing from a trader given my previous experience and that Penguin Cars was approximately 240 miles from me! From start to finish Rob was sympathetic, answered my questions even had new number plates printed. Rob and his wife are very genuine, and made the process easy and relaxed. Upon arrival to collect my car their attitude never changed, friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. I never felt pushed or harassed into purchasing my car, unlike a couple of others that I had enquired about before finding Rob! If you want a dealership that puts you first and believes in what they are selling and delivering as a service… Penguin Cars all the way! You won’t be disappointed. Bought a JCW Mini Countryman and right from enquiry to purchase, I couldn't fault Rob. He was extremely helpful with any questions and always came back to me quickly. The car was delivered to me by Andy, again, very friendly. I had an issue with the car a few weeks after buying but turned out it was to do with the Dash Cam I had put in, but before we knew that, Rob was super helpful and couldn't do enough to help me out in trying to rectify the fault that occurred. Would highly recommend and definitely buy a car from them in the future.

Best Best and the Bestest

I have never seen such a gentleman in my life. Rob simply was the best business man Ive ever met. I went from another city about 200m away. I didn't have a car and went there with my friend and his mother. We drove for like 4hrs. As soon as we got there, Rob welcomed us and provided us hot drink. He did my job in only like half hour. He was so helpful, kind, polite and professional. He did my finance so fast and smooth that I was shocked how quick he did that. He also did my one year car tax and helped me finding right insurance company.
Also after leaving there, he texted me and gave a ref number to join for one year break down recovery.
Such a nice human being.
